Meditation Resources

Welcome to this meditation course. I have designed this course to be beginner-friendly. If you commit to giving this course a fair try, you are bound to benefit from it. Trying meditation has been immensely valuable to me, and I believe it can be to you too. I promise to do my very best to make your efforts as worthwhile and enjoyable as I can.

This course, despite being beginner-friendly, also aims to provide significant value to advanced practitioners. After we cover the foundations of meditation practice, we will dive into some fascinating and profound mental territory. Feel free to go at your own pace, and let yourself be guided by what feels most meaningful. Never forget that meditation is a deeply personal journey, one that you can't blindly delegate to any authority.

Where to begin

If you want to begin meditating right away, I invite you to try this 10-minute Guided Meditation for Beginners.

This course begins with the fundamentals, grouped under Preliminary skillls. In Preliminary skills, we will cover where and when to meditate, how long to meditate for, and the equipment required. The course then branches out into two separate tracks: Concentration and Insight. Once you've completed the Preliminary skills, you will choose which of these two tracks you want to dive into. Don't worry, you'll eventually get to explore both.

Preliminary skills

I encourage all practitioners to begin with the Preliminary skills. Regardless of your skill level, you should at least review the lessons in this track, as they define key concepts that I will use throughout the course.

Advanced paths

Once you have completed the preliminary skills, you will have two options to move further in your meditation practice: the Concentration path, and the Insight path. If you are unsure which one to choose, go with the Concentration path. There is no such thing as too much concentration, and should you eventually move to the Insight path, your concentration skills will speed up your progress on the Insight path.

Concentration Path

Develop peace, joy and concentration

Recommended if you practice for increased calm, stress-reduction and enhanced concentration skills, or if in doubt.

Insight path

Explore and transform the mind

Recommended if you meditate to understand and discover the inner workings of the mind, or are driven by existential questions like "Who am I?"
